Annual Winter Holiday Party / Pub Run TUESDAY NIGHT #HAF

Details

We're doing it. It's our annual Holiday Party / Pub Run. We are going to meet at Mean Eyed Cat and jog around town to a few bars. We will finalize that later today (waiting to hear back from 1-2 more).

If you want to meet before the holiday party starts, we will meet at Donn’s Depot at 6.30p.

*This is going to be an alcohol infused event. If you drive and partake in the pub run, we'll take away your keys. Zero tolerance policy. Take an Uber or show us proof of a designated driver. In other words, take an Uber. This party is completely at your own risk*

Rough Timeline --

  • Pre-game at Mean Eyed Cat at 6.30p (updated)

  • Run starts at 7.05p from Mean Eyed Cat

  • The Library (407 E 6th St, Austin, TX 78701) from ~7.30p-7.50p

  • Shiner's Saloon (422 Congress Ave. D, Austin, TX 78701) from ~8.00p-8.20p

  • tbd // i am waiting on a bar to lock this in from 8.30p-9.00p. I will post on IG the final bar around 5.00p today.

  • Final stop + shut it down at Mean Eyed Cat

We have a lot of folks and this is going to be organized so we aren't waiting for an hour at each bar for drinks. That said, here’s the deal - we order drinks ahead of time at each bar. It’s dealers choice. There could be beers, there could be mixed drinks, it’s all up in the air. If you have specific needs, desires, tastes, are too high class or whatever, too bad. There’s no other way to organize this efficiently.

With that said -->

$35 for the party (we'll take care of a drink at each bar and whatever is left over will be used to run a tab at Mean Eyed Cat afterwards)

$20 for Bartenders at MEC Holiday Gift (optional)

$15 for another gift that we won't mention in this email for two wonderful folks we worth closely with (optional)

The total max you can send over is $70/person.

When you get to the bar, we'll have wristbands for those that have paid.

So if you're coming to the party, you can Venmo anywhere from $35-70 to Paras via Venmo or PayPal.

When you Venmo me, please put your name in the line and/or some type of caption if you're paying for multiple people.

We'll cut off all payments at 6.00p on Tuesday night so we can be organized. After that you can tag along with us but you'll have to order your own stuff AFTER we get to each bar stop.

For the best holiday dressed folks, we have one entry to the Austin Spurs International Half and one to the Austin Half/Full Marathon to give away.

The first person to tip staff at Mean Eyed Cat (Shelby) a $50 bill (cash only) will get a FREE Austin Marathon entry. Take a selfie and tag us on IG and we will DM you. There is only one winner for this.

Bring your ID + credit card + FULLY CHARGED PHONE with you to each bar. It goes without saying but this event is 21+ only.

WHY RAW

RAW began to bring people together who wanted to bust their ass each week to become better runners and improve their fitness. RAW has done just that. We've all met amazing people and have seen a lot of personal best go down along the way! It's been a great ride thus far and we look forward to continuing to roll down this road at HAF pace with all of you.
