Zilker Relays is officially upon us. Tonight we'll be hitting the track to dial in on our pace for Friday's race! Be there ready to get your HAF pace work in the books as you visualize running down the competition in the park. See you tonight!

We are getting relay teams together for the upcoming Zilker Relays (Sept 9th), Marathon Relays (Sept 18th), and Capitol to Coast (Oct 14-15). Use this link to the spreadsheet to sign up a RAW team. Info on each race:

  • Zilker Relays (click for 15% off discount) - 4- Person Relay teams running 2.5 miles each around Zilker Park. Last year we finished 3rd overall and had a bunch of teams representing RAW and winning the after-party.

  • Marathon Relays - 6 person team, each run 4.37 miles  equaling a full marathon. Each relay leg starts & finishes from same point on Riverside Drive & follows the same route.

  • Capital 2 Coast - 12 person, nearly 24 hour relay that covers 223 Miles from Austin, TX to Corpus Christi, TX

Meeting Spot: Barton Spring Saloon @ 6:55pm, or meet at Austin HS Track @ 7:15pm

Warmup starts: 7:05pm

Workout: Mix of 800s and 400s around the oval

Workout start point: Austin HS Track

Post-Workout: 8:30pm Beers at BSS and P-Terrys

Why RAW?

The reason we started RAW was to bring people together who wanted to bust their ass each week to become better runners and improve their fitness. RAW has done just that. We've all met amazing people and have seen a lot of personal best go down along the way! It's been a great ride so far and we look forwarding continue roll down this road at HAF pace with all of you.

EVERYONE! RAW welcomes runners of all levels. It doesn't matter if you run a 5 minute mile or a 12 minute mile, RAW workouts are designed for you to run at the pace that is hard for YOU. Come try a workout, bring your friends and let's get after it together!
