RAW #244 - Kingbury Hill (Pease Park)

TONIGHT - We're going to do the Redbud Relays, a new workout orchestrated by Scotty and Eric. The workout START POINT is going to be at Pease Park (where the splash pad is). This is about a 2 mile warm up and a 2 mile cooldown. If you are uncomfortable with that length of a warmup/cooldown, please, by all means, drive to Pease Park and do a warm up there and a cooldown there. You can always drive post workout and meet us back in the bar.AFTER THE WORKOUTDeep Eddy/Pool Burger/Thundercloud (if you get Thundercloud you must eat it upstairs!)Next WeekTBD RAW AT THE RACESSean Clancy tore it up in Kerville, as did Stewart Mickler (3rd in his AG), and a few other RAW superstars. Great work out there!Sarah Lancaster and Mike Kurvach went up to Washington D.C. to run a road mile and they both turned in excellent performances. Sarah was 4th in the women's elite/pro field in 4.46, just a few seconds behind some top notch U.S. talent and beating a lot of pros along the way. Mike Kurvach ran 4.21, only 4 seconds behind 2x Olympic Medialist Nick Willis and sub4 minute miler Brandon Hudgins. Pretty cool stuff Mike! Great work all! Announcements-More to come on this front - but Bernie is going to help RAW get organized with volunteers for Back on My Feet Austin. He's on the board of BOMF and will be around tomorrow to answer preliminary questions as well as start to gauge what type of interest there is to volunteer, help out, etc. If you want to learn more about BOMF Austin and are looking for a way to give back aside from so many of your work with BTT, ask Bernie and visit this link here: https://austin.backonmyfeet.org/-RAW Swag!
